All life on earth is dependent on energy. The sun is the first and largest energy source, but in order to cover the growing need for energy we have extracted energy from coal, oil, gas and nuclear power. But it has been at the expense of the environment. Now, new, cleaner energy sources are needed. Around in Sweden, as in the rest of the world, research is ongoing to find new solutions. It concerns special designed molecules, unique nanomaterials, new smart solar cells and artificial photosynthesis. Meet researchers from Linköping University, Chalmers University of Technology, Umeå University and Uppsala University.
