One way to save energy in your home is by replacing all of your light bulbs with LED bulbs. LED bulbs give off warm, bright light similar to traditional 60-watt incandescent bulbs but use less energy. LED bulbs also have a far longer life expectancy than traditional bulbs eliminating the need to replace them as often. We’d recommend starting by replacing the bulbs in the rooms you use most regularly to begin with.

You can then take this a step further by buying a home automated system. This system comes with LED bulbs and plugs and lets you access and control your LED bulbs from anywhere, using your existing home Wi-Fi network and mobile internet. You can dim lights, turn them on or off, or create a custom schedule that works for your family. You can also set your lights to turn on automatically at sunset, control them from work, or turn them off after you leave home, all from your smartphone or tablet.
