In this demonstration shot at Eaton Corp.’s Power Systems Experience Center, Dan Carnovale explains how measurements made with these devices installed can give misleading readings that imply energy savings where none really exist. Most often, unsuspecting victims get fooled by looking at read-outs of watts instead of a read-out of volt-amps.
