Aeromine Rooftop Wind. Static. Silent. 50% more power than Solar PV. What's not to like?

Alternative Energy No Comments »

Rooftop wind power has been a goal for micro power generators around the world for many years now. There’s no shortage of design ideas, but now there’s a new kid on the block that has no visible moving parts, makes no noise, and generates 50% more power than standard solar PV panels. Building solar farms and wind parks is one thing. Plugging them into the grid is another. How does our power system need to change to cope with more renewables?

We’re destroying our environment at an alarming rate. But it doesn’t need to be this way. Our new channel Planet A explores the shift towards an eco-friendly world — and challenges our ideas about what dealing with climate change means. We look at the big and the small: What we can do and how the system needs to change. Every Friday we’ll take a truly global look at how to get us out of this mess.
